How to Install the iOS 18 Beta

Step-by-Step Instructions

For iPhone and iPad

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Go to General and then Software Update.

3. The iOS 18 beta should appear there. Select it and follow the prompts to install it.

For Mac

1. Go to the Apple Developer Program download page.

2. Find the iOS 18 beta and click Download.

3. Follow the prompts to install it.

For Apple Watch

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 16.4 or later.

2. Tap General and then Software Update.

3. Select the iOS 18 developer beta.

4. Follow the prompts to install it.

Important Note

Developer betas are usually the roughest beta versions of system software that exist in a beta test cycle.
